Once LeadJourney starts pushing events to your Meta Pixel or Conversion API, verifying that the data is received and processed correctly by Meta is critical for campaign optimization and algorithm training.
Why You Need to Verify Events
LeadJourney gives you GDPR-compliant, server-side conversion tracking that bypasses cookie denials, iOS restrictions, and ad blockers. But sending events alone is not enough—you must ensure Meta accepts and matches those events to the right user interactions.
Without verification:
Events may be dropped or ignored by Meta
Your ad optimization may rely on incomplete or inaccurate data
Retargeting and lookalike audiences can be compromised
Step-by-Step: How to Verify Events in Meta
Go to Meta Events Manager
Navigate to Meta Events Manager
Select the Pixel that is linked to LeadJourney.
Check the "Overview" Tab
Confirm that LeadJourney events are showing up in real time.
You should see server events like
Lead
,QualifiedLead
,DemoBooked
, etc.
Go to the "Diagnostics" Tab
Look for Event Match Quality. A high score (green or yellow) means Meta is able to tie the event back to an ad click.
Pay attention to any warnings (like missing
fbclid
or low match rate).
Inspect "Test Events" (Optional for QA)
Use the "Test Events" tool in Events Manager.
Add your test browser’s identifier and simulate a lead journey.
Confirm the events arrive in real-time.
Best Practices After Initial Integration
Verify each event once it’s pushed live.
Track the volume and match quality weekly to ensure Meta is properly linking events to your ads.
Use LeadJourney's CRM sync and milestone pushback to feed Qualified Leads and Won Deals back to Meta—not just raw leads.
If you’ve set everything up and still don’t see events in Meta, contact us via the Live Chat widget in your LeadJourney app.
