If you're running Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger), LeadJourney enables full-funnel visibility by combining ad platform performance data with your CRM leads — all in one dashboard.

In addition to syncing clicks, impressions, and spend, LeadJourney also sends offline conversion data back to Meta via the Conversions API. This helps Meta optimize your campaigns for lead quality — not just clicks or form fills.

✅ What You Need Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • Access to your Facebook account

  • Admin access to the Meta Ad Account you want to connect

  • A Pixel associated with the ad account

  • An API Access Token for the Meta Conversions API (to send offline data)

🧭 Step-by-Step: Connect Meta Ads to LeadJourney

Step 1: Log in to LeadJourney

👉 Go to https://app.leadjourney.io and sign in.

Step 2: Open Traffic Channels

Step 3: Connect Meta Ads

  • Find Meta Ads in the list

  • Click "Connect"

  • A pop-up window will open for authentication

Step 4: Authorize & Select Account

  • Click “Connect with Meta”

  • Log in to your Facebook account

  • Authorize LeadJourney

  • Select the Ad Account you want to track

Step 5: Enter Pixel ID & API Access Token

To enable offline conversion tracking, you’ll be prompted to:

  1. Enter your Meta Pixel ID
(The same pixel used in your campaigns)

  2. Paste your Conversions API Access Token
(Generated from Events Manager → Settings in your Meta Business account)

🔒 These credentials allow LeadJourney to send conversion data back to Meta securely and in real time.

Step 6: Complete the Connection

After entering the required info, click “Complete Connection”.

🎉 Done! Your Meta Ads account is now fully connected to LeadJourney.

⚠️ Final Setup Step: Add UTM Parameters

Although your ad account is connected, for accurate traffic tracking you must add UTM parameters to your Meta campaigns.

These UTM tags allow LeadJourney to:

  • Attribute traffic to the correct source and campaign

  • Record the full user journey

  • Match conversions back to the ad level

⚠️ Without UTMs, LeadJourney can’t track source/campaign breakdowns.
