At LeadJourney, we believe transparency is everything.

That’s why we give you full access to detailed Logs—so you can see exactly how we track, match, and report your data.

No black box, no guesswork. Just clear insights into what’s happening behind the scenes.

The Logs help you verify, troubleshoot, and trust every single report inside your dashboard.

🧾 Overview of Log Types

We break everything down into four easy-to-understand log categories:

1. Click Logs

📌 Tracks every click on your website.

Whenever a visitor lands on your page, we log:

  • UTM parameters

  • Traffic source & campaign

  • Device and browser information

  • Click ID

  • Timestamp and landing URL

This lets you see where your traffic is really coming from—and forms the basis for accurate attribution.

2. Conversion Logs

📌 Shows all data sent from your CRM to LeadJourney via webhook or Zapier.

Any time you push a lead update—like:

  • QualifiedLead

  • ScheduledCall

  • WonClient

  • DemoBooked

…we log the event details, timestamp, and whether it successfully matched with a click.

This way, you can easily check if your CRM integration is working correctly and your key milestones are being captured.

3. API Postbacks

📌 Shows which data LeadJourney sends back to the ad platforms.

For every conversion we sync back to Meta, Google, or other platforms, you’ll see:

  • Event type (e.g. QualifiedLead)

  • Destination platform

  • Match status (success or error)

  • Timestamp and associated click ID

This ensures you're feeding the ad platforms with accurate offline conversions, helping their algorithms optimize for real results—not just form fills.

4. Cost Updates

📌 Displays cost data we pull from your connected ad accounts.

We log:

  • Daily ad spend per platform

  • Spend breakdown per campaign or ad set

  • Date/time of the last sync

This powers your true ROAS, CPL, and CAC metrics inside LeadJourney.

🧠 Why This Matters

With LeadJourney Logs, you get full visibility into:

✅ How your data is tracked
✅ What’s matched and what’s missing
✅ Why a certain lead was attributed (or not)
✅ What data is being shared with platforms

It’s the foundation of trust in your performance reports.

📍Where to Find the Logs

You’ll find all logs in the Logs section of your LeadJourney dashboard.
