Great question—and this is actually working exactly as intended! 💡
At LeadJourney, we use source-date attribution for reporting offline conversions.
🧠 Here’s What That Means
When a custom offline conversion—like "QualifiedLead"
, "DemoAttended"
, or "WonClient"
—is sent to LeadJourney, we don’t attribute it to the date we received it.
Instead, we attribute it to the original date the lead was first generated.
✅ Example:
A user clicks your ad and becomes a lead on June 1, 2025
That lead is marked as a
"QualifiedLead"
in your CRM and pushed to LeadJourney on June 15, 2025
🔁 In your LeadJourney reports, the conversion will appear under June 1, not June 15.
📊 Why We Do This
This gives you accurate, full-funnel attribution. You’ll always see:
Which campaign originally brought in the lead
How many leads eventually converted
True CPL, CAC, and ROAS for the day the lead was acquired
This avoids misleading “spikes” on days where CRM data is sent in batches and gives you much cleaner performance analysis over time.
🔍 Where to See It
To view that offline conversion:
Go to your Lead Overview Report
Find the date the lead was created
Click into the lead to see the full journey and all associated CRM events
