If you're running Google Ads, LeadJourney helps you track as much conversion data as possible by combining ad platform data with your CRM data – all in one dashboard.

We also send offline conversion data from your CRM back to Google Ads, which helps boost the algorithm and optimize for higher lead quality.

In this article, you'll learn how to connect your Google Ads account as a traffic channel inside LeadJourney.

✅ What You Need Before You Start

Before you begin, make sure:

  • You have access to your Google Ads account

  • You have admin permissions for that account

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Log in to your LeadJourney account

Go to https://app.leadjourney.io/ and log in with your credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to Traffic Channels

Step 3: Connect Google Ads

  • Find Google Ads in the list of traffic channels

  • Click the "Connect" button
    A pop-up window will open.

Step 4: Authorize & Select Ad Account

  • Click "Connect with Google" (OAuth)

  • Log into your Google account and authorize LeadJourney

  • Select the Google Ads account you want to connect

Step 5: Complete the Connection

  • After selecting your Google Ads account, click "Complete Connection" to finish the integration.
That’s it — your Google Ads account is now successfully connected to LeadJourney!

That’s it! 🎉 Once connected, LeadJourney will start syncing data from your Google Ads campaigns and combine it with your CRM for full-funnel visibility and better optimization.

⚠️ Important: Final Step Required

Your Google Ads account is now connected, and we can start syncing data.
However, to complete the integration, you need to add custom tracking parameters (UTMs) to all your Google Ads campaigns.

This ensures that our tracking script can correctly capture and store the UTM data in our database.

👉 Without these parameters, we won’t be able to track the full customer journey accurately.
